High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) is a strong and versatile thermoplastic resin produced from ethylene monomers. It is also known as low-pressure polyethylene and typically appears as opaque, white, wax-like granules. HDPE is non-toxic and odorless, with a density generally ranging from 0.941 to 0.960 g/cmu00b3. Compared with LDPE, it is harder, stronger, and more rigid while still maintaining good toughness.
HDPE resin offers excellent heat resistance, cold resistance, abrasion resistance, chemical stability, and electrical insulation properties. It has very low water absorption and moisture permeability and is highly resistant to most organic solvents at room temperature.
Due to its strength, durability, and reliable performance, HDPE is widely used in agriculture, packaging, electrical and electronic products, machinery, automotive components, household products, pipes, containers, and many other industrial applications.
Excellent electrical insulation. The high density polyethylene resin has good electrical insulation properties and can be used as an insulating material for electrical equipment.
Aging resistance. It can resist ultraviolet radiation and oxidation during long-term use.
